TEACHING LANDSCAPE HISTORY

PROTECTED: TEACHING LANDSCAPE HISTORY

The primary goal of the SAH Landscape History Chapter is to increase the breadth and depth of work in the field, and to diminish disciplinary and geographic isolation. The mission is as follows: β€œTo encourage research in landscape, gardening, and horticultural history and theory, and to promote the dissemination of research through publications, meetings, lectures, and other such means as may be authorized by the membership. ” As a part of these efforts we are compiling teaching resources in order to share with chapter members.

This page is the cover for a collection of course syllabi generously provided by members of the Chapter. The intent is for scholars and educators to be able to share syllabi and other teaching materials and resources in order to enhance and expand the teaching of landscape histories and related issue and discourses. This is only a beginning and we invite chapter members to comment, question, and most of all, to contribute.

The courseware material included are copyright protected. Please contact Thaisa Way (tway@uw.edu) to obtain password, to contribute, or to learn more.
